The art of stARTing

I wish I had learned painting when I was young. As I have said in my previous article Draw Something.

But even though I don’t know how to. Siguro, I can say when I like how a painting is created. The theme, colors, and the artistry of it.

Suddenly, I remember that a few months ago, my friend named Candy, used to invite me to visit their art gallery in Manila. So I hurriedly contacted her, and asked if she could show me pictures of the gallery so I can see it before I do visit. Maybe this is the time to start liking art.

She send me the pictures and I was happy and so much delighted to see it. I told her that I will put it in my blog, as my token of appreciation.

  • sa unang tingin parang 'spooky' ang dating...but honestly speaking, binalik balikan ko ng tingin, nakita ko yung pagiging unique nya. title palang, "dead can dance". not the usual painting that you could commonly see on a gallery...

    Yup, the same with me. Sa umpisa, parang sabi ko, unusual naman at di ko maappreciate. Pero nung binasa ko na yung theme ng "Dead Can Dance" saka ko naintindihan ang gustong iconvey ng painter. Then bigla na lang naging artistic lahat sa mata ko habang patagal ng patagal. Gusto ko nga yung mga blue faces, ang sarap tignan.

    Well, Brother Alvin, I appreciate you sharing the world the Arts, Philippine Style.

    As for me, I love nature. The real thing. I love going places. The feel of the sand and the big waves of Virginia Beach splashing our backs as high as we are.

    They say that art lovers are highly intelligent. Maybe I am not. I do not know.

    Yes, I like looking at that gallery even through the pictures. Hope to see it better in person. I like the bluish painting. With 3 images of a bald ghost I guess :)
