“AVIRA” The best free Antivirus on the web. Even better without the Pop-up ADs.

I just dropped by to post this what I believe the simplest way
to remove the annoying Pop-up ads of AVIRA Antivirus.

Let’s get it on!

1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\AntiVir Desktop

(or look for the directory where Avira Antivirus was installed in your computer)

2. Look for ‘avnotify.exe’ and right click.

3. Select ‘Properties’

4. Go to ‘Security’ tab.

5. Select ‘SYSTEM’ from Group or User Name

6. Click ‘Edit…’ button.

7. Check on ‘Deny’ column ‘Read and Execute’ checkbox.

8. Click ‘Apply’ Button.

9. Restart your computer.

And you’re done!

AVIRA still is the best for me. I hope it works for you!
